Ben is Head of Strategy at Droga5 Sydney, having previously led strategic planning in London and Hong Kong at creative and digital agencies including VCCP, Digitas and Razorfish.
In an industry that can take itself a little too seriously, he’s a big believer in the simple power of entertainment to build culturally and commercially impactful brands. And the importance of creating a supportive team culture where we’re all encouraged to keep growing and have fun doing it.
Ben lives in Sydney with his wife, daughter and pet cat. He also has extensive experience with on-screen animals, having wrangled meerkats, dachshunds, harmonica-playing cats and kangaroos to sell everything from bargain car insurance to high-end holidays. If it purrs, barks or hops, the chances are you’ve got a till ringer on your hands.
He’s been fortunate to win a bunch of effectiveness awards along the way, including Australian, APAC and Global ‘Best of the Best’ Effies, as well as UK Marketing Society, Marketing Week and Campaign Awards.
