ABOUT MICHAEL

I have had a rollercoaster ride to comms planning. Starting out as a social strategist at Australia's first social media agency I was part of breaking a lot of new ground in social content, management and strategy which won awards for brands like Coca-Cola, Boost Mobile and the Cancer Council. A move to NYC saw me broaden my skills in comms strategy at agencies like CHI and R/GA where campaigns on brands like PBS and Jet.com won fancy awards at Effies and Cannes.

Currently I am VP of comms strategy at McCann NYC where I get to work on comms strategies to bring the best out of campaigns with strong creative at their core for meaningful brands like Verizon, Instax, Homegoods and the NY Lottery. Our agency has been named most creatively effective at Effies for the last two years and was 2019's network of the year.

When I'm not on the 24th floor of 622 3rd Avenue I enjoy collecting and playing dance records, trying new recipes and exploring the weird corners of NYC.
