ABOUT GARETH

Gareth is a co-founder of Chapter. He's a strategist by trade.
Chapter is a creative business partner dedicated to solving the wicked problems facing pioneering businesses. It's a new breed of creative company, built from the ground up to better deliver the types of commercial creativity pioneering companies need today in a world that is best characterized as complex, not simply complicated.
Prior to setting up Chapter, Gareth was Chief Strategy Officer and Partner at Goodby, SIlverstein and Partners and the Head of Planning at Modernista! In his decade in the US, Gareth has led strategy on brands including Google, Cisco, TD Ameritrade, the NBA, General Motors, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and (RED).
Gareth began his career in the UK and worked at TBWA, dfgw and Lowe where he was lucky enough to help develop award winning communications for a diverse bunch of clients including Waterstone’s, fcuk, the BBC, Reebok and Unilever. He graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
Gareth serves on the board of the VCU Brandcenter and is one of very few strategists to have judged leading strategy (Jay Chiat), creative (Clio) and effectiveness (EFFIE and inaugural Cannes Effectiveness Lions) awards.
