In previous roles, Alvaro was Head of Design and Research & Development at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, where he lead a large transformation program evolving the iconinc national broadcaster into a modern digital media organisation. Previously, Alvaro led the creative direction for frog design in East Asia based out of Shanghai where he led key experience strategy and new product innovation programs on Automotive, Financial Services, Communications and Healthcare.
Aside from his professional career, Alvaro is a preeminent public speaker and guest lecturer at the University of Technology in Sydney, the University of New South Wales, and the Business School in the Imperial College in London.
As a systematic thinker, Alvaro enjoys pushing the boundaries of conventionality. He believes design’s ultimate responsibility is to discreetly advance the human experience through meaningful and positive change.
